Vision

To empower the visually impaired by helping them acquire relevant skills and techniques, through professional training, with the aid of modern technology.

Mission

For the visually impaired, quality of life, economic independence, mobility, and most important to live a life of dignity and be treated as equals in society is a dominant force.

  • Kamla Amul Massand's The Technical Training Institute of The Poona Blind Men's Association was established in 1960 and is working for the rehabilitation of the visually impaired youth aged between 18-45 years of age. It is managed professionally and has a team of trained and experienced staff/trainers/helpers. The capacity is 100.
  • All our training programs, hostel facility, food, medical expenses are free of cost for the students enrolled.
  • Along with the training, we have extracurricular activities like yoga, sports, mudra training, festival celebrations, alumni meet, role model sessions, and organizing events with the help of corporates.
  • Sessions on employment-linked skills, which include resume preparation, mock interviews, mobility training inside and outside the campus, and presentation skills, which help in the holistic development of the beneficiaries.
